My current professional roles include Interactive Marketing Manager, Project Manager and Internet Marketing & SEO Specialist.
As the Interactive Projects Manager I have been specializing in thought leadership to drive more comprehensive interactive brand strategies through web development, online media buying and interactive media development.
I am currently responsible for project managing interactive media development for major telecommunication firms, global mining firms, aboriginal development corporations, environmental review boards and the Federal Government of Canada. Some of these contract roles include integrated media buying, interactive media strategies and enhancing a visitor’s online experience – which may include an advertiser’s offering when they visit a web site, casual gaming ads (i.e. arcade games and puzzles), site architecture planning and much more.
I use a combination of site metrics to understand and improve audience engagement with the goal of increasing lead generation. In addition, I use web analytics, social networks and campaign hooks to understand the interests, lifestyles and behaviors of online users. I use this research to get more relevant ads to the right people and to enhance my interactive media planning strategies.
For the past 7 years I have also been engaged in netnography and human optimization, which is a study of human behavior, activity, and communication through blogs, forums, social networking websites, etc. I use this valuable information and experience to behaviorally and contextually define audiences – which leverages my abilities to get better results and higher conversions for my clients.
